A Wonderful Wedding

Yesterday my sister married the love of her life!! There was an overwhelming amount of friends and family that came to support the two on their special day.
One of the most import people there was our uncle Dave. Amber and Nate chose Dave to preach at their wedding! He gave an excellent sermon about Christian love and marriage.
(Once the wedding pictures are released, I’ll have another post about the entire day! But for now, I am incredibly happy to share with you the love given through the wedding sermon.)
Here is what I took away:
Did you know that 2.5 million couples get married a year? And that almost 50% of those marriages end in divorce?!?!
A relationship is only as good as the people in it! And a good relationship needs not two, but three people.
You. Your significant other. And God.

Hebrews 13:5: God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
As Amber and Nate made their vows yesterday and said “I will” and “I do”,
God also made a vow:
God says “I won’t” and “I don’t”.
“I won’t leave you” and “I don’t forsake you”.
We all make mistakes! And couples… they make mistakes too. However, no matter what happens along the road, God promises to stay buckled in and navigate the way!
He will never leave you. No matter what happens, he will never turn his back on his children.
God is the most important part of any and every relationship!
For a long time, I’ve prayed for two amazing Christian men. Not only my own future husband but Amber’s as well! God definitely fulfilled those prayers with Nate. Amber has an amazing Christian man to be her best friend for the rest of her life!!
I have prayed from Amber and Nate before and I’ll continue to pray for them for the rest of my life!

Sharing my love for Jesus and his love for you!
