Happy Sunday!!
Today we are thankful for:
1) family and friends!! I got to see and talk to so many friends today!! Amber sang in church, my friend Lauren got her senior pictures done, and Collin and I went hiking!!
2) SUNDAY SCHOOL STARTED AGAIN TODAY!!!!!!!! Sadly, we only had two students on our age group but both of the boys are super sweet.
3) The blessing of childlike faith.
What was your favorite game from when you were a child?
Did you play house a lot?
Or imagine you were in a fictional world like Harry Potter?
What about going exploring in the woods?
Or pretending you could fly… or do magic… or anything to that effect?
ANYTHING WAS POSSIBLE AS A KID!!
So why doesn’t it seem that way now? Why do we doubt we aren’t good enough? “Oh I won’t get that job.” “There is NO WAY I’m getting into that college.” Or even “I know God says he is there for me but I’m not important enough for him to notice!”
What the heck got us so down in the dumps?!?!?
This doubt comes from one person and one person only. Satan. He’s been planting doubts in the minds of God’s people since the beginning. “did God really say…?”
When satan tries to drive us away with doubts, we need to turn to Jesus.
Jesus tells us that NOTHING is impossible for those who believe!!
We need a strong faith… or in this case, a CHILDLIKE faith! A faith where we know that NOTHING is impossible with God.
Matthew 17:20
Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
It isn’t always easy to turn away from our doubts and trust in God. However the Bible gives us a battle cry when Satan sends doubts our way:
Mark 9:24
“I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
When doubts do come we can rest assured and put our confidence (and faith) in he who always delivers. Jesus.

Things to work on this week:
1) cleaning my room!! It’s been a mess for a looonnngggg time and it needs to be taken care of!
2) Finishing a book! I LOVE going to have price books! I have 4 unread books to finish before I go again. This week I need to take the time to sit down and read instead of sitting on my phone.
3) Focusing on having a childlike faith and trusting in God whenever doubts come my way. Prayers work people!!
Hope this week FLIES BY for you.
Sharing my love for Jesus and his love for you!
