Happy Sunday!!

This one is going to be short but sweet!

Today we are thankful for:

1) Adam having a safe trip back to school

2) Finding ducks at wallypoo

3) And having the Great Gardener as our God!

Today we finished the book of Acts! (Chapter 28)

Have you ever played gardenscapes? It’s a game that’s basically candy crush but you get to build a garden along the way!

My family is absolutely OBSESSED with this game!! Which is funny because we could never keep a garden alive in real life. Gardening isn’t the easiest thing in the world. I pretty much kill every plant I touch.

Thankfully I am not the gardener of my faith (or anyone else’s!). We only have a small part of the job.

We can plant the seed (faith), give it lots of water (the word), and sunlight (Christian fellowship) but nothing we can do will make that plant grow.

That’s God’s part. He makes faith flourish and blossom into a beautiful flower!! And we, as believers, make up the BREATHTAKING garden of heaven. But only because of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 6:25-34

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

How reassuring to know that God will take care of us and help us grow every single day!!

Just as he takes care of the ducks that waddle the earth he will also take care of us and of our faith.

& that makes us lucky ducks!

Things to work on this week:

1) writing my blog post before 11 at night.

2) Starting up a workout routine… or just getting back into routine first.

3) Helping plant the seed of faith in other so God can help it grow!

Have a great week friends!

Sharing my love for Jesus and his love for you!
